Unlock Your Short Game – Golf 101

Practice Range – East Side
$150 for Residents, $199 for Non-Residents

Are you sick and tired of three putting or taking multiple shots to get out of the bunker? Sharpen up the most important aspect of your game with our Northbrook Golf Academy Instructors this spring. Over the course of three sessions we will cover the basics chipping/pitching, bunker shots and putting. Learn to play these shots with confidence and shoot lower scores your next round of golf.

Learn how to use multiple clubs on chip shots to get the ball closer to the hole, and when to chip vs. pitch. Assess and execute greenside shots from different lies out of the fairway, rough and bunkers.

Grasp the key putting fundamentals to help eliminate 3-putts.

Get Golf Ready: Level 1 (Learn to Play)

Practice Range – West Side
$199 for Residents, $250 for Non-Residents

Learn to play with confidence and enjoy the challenges along the way. Develop your swing and short game skills while gaining a better understanding of the game. You will take your newly acquired skills and use them on-course on the Legacy 9 for our last session. Launch monitor technologies will enhance the students learning experience. This level is suitable for beginners, recreational and intermediate players returning to the game.

Fundamentals of Golf 101

Looking for a new hobby and adventure in your life? There is no better time to start learning to play golf than right now. Many people’s greatest fear is trying something new and embarrassing themselves. No need to worry our Academy Instructors have you covered and will help you learn the game in a simple, fun and encouraging four lesson format. You will receive a thorough and concise introduction to the game of golf, and learn the full swing fundamentals for striking the ball with woods and irons, putting, chipping and bunker shots to help you navigate around the course with confidence. You will also learn the basic etiquette and rules associated with playing the game.
